“Together we are stronger”

Today we celebrate the International Day Against Cancer, this is a disease in so much people every year, that's why is so constant the fight. but together we are stronger.

The number of people affected by cancer is increasing every year, an estimated increase in the coming years more. The World Health Organization, shows that they could save a million and a half lives, reducing to 25% cases by 2025. Of course, this can be a reality only If we work together in our lives and share with others the culture of maintaining good health.

- Myths about cancer -

1. No need to talk on Cancer 
Even if is a hard disease, could be good talk about that, people need to know more about this disease and how can win the fight. If someone is sick can open the heart with his family, friends or doctor, that's could avoid stress and share the struggle.    

2. No evidence of Cancer Symptoms 
Awareness is the first step towards early detection and improved prognosis of cancer. For many cancers, such as breast, cervix, skin, oral, colorectal and certain childhood cancers, the benefits of early detection are indisputable, with some exceptions, a cancer in its early stages responsive to treatments in their late stages. Early detection of some cancers is particularly relevant in low-resource settings and in some cases does not require the use of any specialized diagnostic technology. 

For many developing countries, have qualified to diagnose and monitor the disease remains a challenge professionals. Most pronounced is facing a shortage of oncologists and other specialists, including pathologists.

3. There can be nothing against Cancer 
The conditions and habits of people in your personal life and at work affect their health and quality of life.

Inequality in access to health care between developed countries and those in developing affects most malignancies. 

Patients residing in developing countries - whose cancer could be cured in developed countries - suffer and die due to lack of awareness, resources and access to quality health services related to cancer.
